The fees below apply from 2026. The precise work, schedule and financial arrangements are recorded in writing before we begin.

An individual matter

For an individual business or financial conflict requiring investigation, negotiation or further legal action.

  1. Registration. You submit your matter online and select the fee model you prefer.
  2. Confirmation and contact. You receive immediate confirmation, after which we contact you by telephone.
  3. Preliminary investigation. We assess the prospects of success and recovery and report our findings in writing.
  4. Decision. Based on the report, you decide whether to stop or proceed.
  5. Engagement. If you proceed, you receive an engagement agreement and, where necessary, an authorisation or power of attorney.
  6. Advance payment. The agreed work begins after the advance invoice has been paid.
  7. Full investigation. We investigate the financial and legal causes, consequences and potential extent of the loss or claim.
  8. Report and right of reply. We report our findings and invite the counterparty to respond to your account.
  9. Next step. Depending on the response, you choose negotiation, Kifid, mediation or court proceedings.
  10. External specialist. If necessary, you select a mediator or lawyer and enter into a separate agreement with that party.
  11. Completion. If the outcome is positive and you selected option 2, the success fee is calculated after deducting the mediator's or lawyer's costs from the compensation.

A collective matter

For similar losses affecting a larger group. The matters can be combined and pursued collectively.

The final percentage depends on the funding terms, the duration of the proceedings and the amount of the loss. Participants are expected to provide all relevant information and documents.

  1. Registration. You register online and receive confirmation by email.
  2. Contact and engagement. We contact you by telephone where necessary and record the engagement and authorisation in writing.
  3. Complaints procedure. The respondent is notified and invited to respond.
  4. Negotiation. Through consultation and, where appropriate, publicity, we seek an acceptable compensation proposal.
  5. Decision. The response is assessed; an appropriate proposal may be accepted. Otherwise, collective proceedings may be considered.
  6. Specialist lawyer. We approach a firm experienced in collective matters for a legal assessment.
  7. Claims foundation. The matter is placed with a foundation that meets the requirements for collective representation.
  8. Litigation funder. The foundation approaches funders to bear the costs and risks of the proceedings.
  9. Proceedings. Once funding and counsel have been finalised, the matter may be brought before the competent court. Collective proceedings may take several years.
  10. Information. Participants are kept informed through the website, newsletters or online meetings.

The success fee is calculated solely on any ex gratia payment or damages obtained.

  1. Registration. You submit the matter online and receive immediate confirmation.
  2. Contact. We contact you by telephone if this has not already happened before registration.
  3. Analysis. Using your documents, we assess the merits and, where possible, estimate the loss.
  4. Decision and engagement. If proceeding is sufficiently worthwhile, you receive an agreement and authorisation.
  5. Internal complaints procedure. We submit a complaint to the responsible party and request damages or an ex gratia proposal.
  6. Response and negotiation. We assess the response and negotiate where necessary; you decide whether to accept any proposal.
  7. Kifid. If rejected, the complaint may be submitted to Kifid within the applicable time limit, provided Kifid has jurisdiction.
  8. Completion. At the end, you receive the final invoice under the selected fee model.

A preventive assessment

For investigating a business or financial proposal and its provider before you make a decision.

  2. Contact and engagement. We discuss your question and record the investigation assignment in writing.
  3. Advance payment. The agreed work begins after the advance invoice has been paid.
  4. Investigation. We investigate sensitivities and potential loss risks associated with the product or proposal.
  5. Information and terms. We assess the information for clarity and examine special terms and limitations of liability.
  6. Provider and governance. We investigate the parties involved, interests, cash flows and independent supervision.
  7. Report. You receive a written report setting out the risks and questions the provider should answer.
  8. Response. We assess the provider's answers. The final decision whether to accept the proposal remains yours.
  9. Completion. You receive a final invoice, with the advance payment deducted.

For all engagements

General fee arrangements

Travel expenses. €0.60 per kilometre. We travel only at your request and after confirmation by email, text message or WhatsApp.

VAT. Advance payments, hourly fees, travel expenses and the optional success fee exclude 21% VAT. These amounts are invoiced.

External service providers. The fees and terms of a mediator, lawyer, claims foundation or litigation funder are disclosed separately. You enter into a separate agreement with any mediator or lawyer you select.

Engagement confirmation. The scope of work, selected fee model and any additional costs are agreed in writing before work begins.
